Yesterday, I made time to visit one of my favourite boutiques, Quartier Mode. I just had to – they are closing their doors at the end of this week and have amazing sales on NOW! Continue reading “Quartier Mode: Available Only Online After THIS Week!” »

It all started with my father. When it comes to clothing, especially men’s clothing, he made me understand at a very young age that quality far outweighs quantity. When I discovered the exclusive Sartorialto in Montréal’s Plateau by chance, I was so happy to find that the old world art of made to measure handmade suits was not lost.
CONGRATULATIONS to the WINNER of our CONTEST – Annick Laporte!
We met Annick, along with designer Jennifer Masabni at one of my favourite Montréal boutiques, Quartier Mode, to present her with the original lace dress that she won in our contest last week.
Despite what you’ve heard in the news lately, Montréal is still a perfectly safe place to visit. I live here and I can still do exactly what I did before this all began.
For years I had been “visiting” my sofa at Montauk in Toronto. Sounds crazy, I know, but I’ve loved their stunning, sexy designs for so long and they are an investment. So, when I moved to Montréal where they are manufactured and I found their showroom, I just had to chat with the people behind this huge local success story. It was such a pleasure sitting down (on their sofa, of course) with owner and founder, Tim Zyto and designer Danny Chartier.
