My husband and I just bought a house and started to renovate. It’s a hundred year-old house, so where do I even begin to describe the work needed? Congatulations to Boutique Royer on their New Home!
This is so exciting! A few months ago, I wrote about Boutique Royer, an amazing place for unique gifts that I found shopping in Montréal. A lot of you have shown interest in them through my site and I am happy to annouce…they have just recently re-opened in their new location in Old Montréal! With edited and discerning stock, their new home is the perfect space to double as a gallery. The owner, the gracious and charming Louise Royer, showed me around, told me how thrilled she is in this new space and of course, I saw some really great gift ideas!

Sexy Sofas Made in Montréal: Montauk Sofa
For years I had been “visiting” my sofa at Montauk in Toronto. Sounds crazy, I know, but I’ve loved their stunning, sexy designs for so long and they are an investment. So, when I moved to Montréal where they are manufactured and I found their showroom, I just had to chat with the people behind this huge local success story. It was such a pleasure sitting down (on their sofa, of course) with owner and founder, Tim Zyto and designer Danny Chartier.
