Funky Little Feet & So Much More: Toto n Dot

Devorah Hoffman / Manager, Toto n Dot

In and amongst other very high – end childrens’ clothing stores where you can find your typical offerings of conservative quality clothing and accessories, I found Toto n Dot.  Also with great quality merchandise, it is the funkiest kids’ shoe store! The manager, Devorah Hoffman, was so accommodating and excited to talk about the coolest and cutest items that I found myself wishing I had children just so I could shop there!

Customer Service Attitude

I have to say that I was very disappointed to find the customer service lacking in some of the “well-known boutiques”.  This is meant for all the young girls who make no effort whatsoever when people walk into the boutiques you work in. You do not own these stores so stop acting like you do and show the owners who pay your salaries some respect for their livelihood. You know who you are! Welcome/ Bienvenue

Ah…Paris! Such an incredibly exciting city and sadly, so far away! “Paris North” however is so much closer and less expensive for we North Americans. I moved here a few years ago and I discovered that same joie de vivre exists here – It’s very European without the price tag! And well, the love of shopping is universal.

It’s absolutely amazing that we can live in a beautiful city like Montréal and not even know the amazing offerings that are right under our noses. That’s what tends to happen when we get caught up in everyday life and don’t leave our own neighborhoods to explore.  For locals and tourists alike, that’s why I’m here!

There are so many stores for we shopaholics that I am going to feature boutiques and designers from all different areas of central Montréal at all different price points. I will discover les petits bijoux that not everyone knows about and write about the ones I love!

Join me on my adventures!
