Yesterday, I made time to visit one of my favourite boutiques, Quartier Mode. I just had to – they are closing their doors at the end of this week and have amazing sales on NOW!
Owned by the vivacious and multi-talented Tiffany Elton, Quartier Mode is unfortunately closing its doors at the end of this week.
The good news is that only the bricks and mortar will be gone.Tiffany will focus all of her efforts on expanding the online presence and continuing to foster super-talented designers from Montréal and all over the country. Very exciting – and yes, there will be pop-up shops to look forward to!
Although I am extremely happy for Tiffany, this is bittersweet for me – I still like to physically try things on in a boutique. (Call me “old-school” !)
Right now (and I mean, as we “speak”), you can find the most incredible deals on some amazing Canadian designer clothing.
I picked up some gorgeous items, like a stunning dress by atelier b., which looks like something Grace Kelly herself would have worn; form-fitting, but flares in just the right places and has pockets – the best detail.
Another piece I fell in love with, which came home with me, was a maxi-dress with a black and white graphic print and halter neck, by Naike. Très chic, sheer and perfect for summer (hanging in the store display below).
These adorable little tops by dawcy & ella (Tiffany’s own line) are so versatile – a real staple for your wardrobe. If you hurry, there may be a few left.
This boutique has been responsible for my own discovery of many local and national talents, such as: Birds of North America, whose dresses have the most form-flattering designs and cuts for women; atelier b., Masabni and so many more. Here is a current list of designers, carried online:
Alice & Alishka
Birds of North America
Darlings of Denmark
dawcy & ella
Dot & Lil
Huard et Associes
Jordan de Ruiter
Les Enfants Sauvages
Pas de ChiChi
Make sure you get down there by Saturday of this week – these sale items are not to be missed!
